The outstanding all-around player for the Indian cricket team, Ravindra Jadeja, took to social media following his father’s remarks on tense relations with both him and his wife, Rivaba. In a grandiose wedding that took place in Rajkot in 2016, Jadeja wed the mechanical engineer Rivaba. Later on, Rivaba entered politics and is presently a representative from Jamnagar North in the Gujarat Legislative Assembly.
Anirudhsinh Jadeja, Jadeja’s father, voiced his displeasure in the Divya Bhaskar interview, saying that his connection with the cricketer and Rivaba soured after their marriage. He bemoaned their lack of communication, stressing their physical separation because Jadeja lives apart from them in his own Jamnagar villa. Jadeja’s father expressed remorse for their fractured connection and suggested that it could have been better if Jadeja hadn’t married or followed a cricket career. He blamed this alienation to his daughter-in-law’s influence.
Additionally, according to Jadeja’s father, Rivaba asked for ownership transfers of family assets within three months of the couple’s marriage, dividing the family.
What Ravindra Jadeja said
Cricket player Jadeja responded by saying, “Everything stated in the interview is false and worthless. On one side, it is said. something I disagree with. The attempts to discredit my wife are utterly disgusting and deserving of contempt. I also have a lot to say, and it would be best if I kept everything to myself.”
